The Canberra Business Blitz provided the opportunity for local businesses to take themselves to the next level with the expert assistance of Link Digital, Schmooze Network and Threesides marketing over a four week period during the ACT government's Business in Focus Month in September 2009.

Following a rigorous selection process three lucky small businesses were selected who then competed to win to up to $10,000 in professional services. The winner was the company that received the most votes by the public.

Their Blitz challenge will be to let people know that they offer some of the best massage therapists in Canberra providing the best possible services that really do help.

Striped Mouse Business Support This company works with businesses to provide administration and financial solutions though services such as bookkeeping and other administrative record keeping systems. Their Blitz challenge is to repackage their image, website and get networked to attract more clients.

GPT Design Pty Ltd. GPT Design is the manufacturer of I-Amp is an Australian manufacturer of  induction loop amplifiers for the hearing impaired.  These listening devices assist the hearing impaired significantly and the company has just begun to get export ready to take the technology global.  Their Blitz challenge will be to develop a compelling story to tell to industry and the community about the benefits and requirements of the technology in preparation to their export push.

These local businesses have been selected from an impressive and diverse field of hopefuls to take part in the month long program looking at marketing, sales, PR, networking, design and digital communication and how each can be applied to their specific needs.
